The Restylane family of products includes Restylane and Perlane. Both are FDA-approved cosmetic fillers designed to smooth away wrinkles and folds in the skin of the face and the lips.
The active ingredient in RestylaneŽ and Perlane is derived from hyaluronic acid, which is a natural sugar found in the skin. The difference between the two is in the gel particle size.
